Dear Patricia:
I’ll be going to Palo Alto tomorrow morning. The Peninsula School in Menlo Park - attended by Mrs. Rigter’s son, Johnny, to whom I have become an idolized person, is having open house, and I feel somewhat obliged to go. However, I’ll be back in the early P.M. so will be available to take you to and from the clinic in the afternoon. If I have the time I might get out to the house, in which case I may bring a little table back as you suggested.
I’ll see you at 3:30 as usual. I enjoyed the “broasted chicken dinner” with you. Shall we go to our weekly dinner directly from the clinic as we did a week or so ago - or from your apartment? Either is O.K. for me - However it works out best for you.
Love - Carl.
