Wiggsy Sivertsen co-founded BAYMEC and GALA, the Gay and Lesbian/Bisexual Student Alliance at SJSU, and helped organize the first indoor Gay Pride Day Celebration at SJSU in 1975. Tom Nolan served as a member of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, 1990-1992. Susan Hammer served on the San Jose City Council and served as mayor of San Jose, 1991-1999. |
