"As a group, HTC joined the march on Sacramento on January 23, 1980, which was in support of AB-1 -- the gay civil rights bill authored by Assemblyman Art Agnos (D-San Francisco)." See Ted Sahl, "From Closet to Community" (2002), p. 93. According to the Assembly final history, AB 1 "died on inactive file". |
