Description
A close up of the main fireplace and accoutrements in the Augustin Bernal Adobe house , Rancho El Valle . This fireplace is gold painted wood and tile and was brought from Seville , Spain . Several items rest on the two levels of the mantel . These include a black elephant figurine flanked by two metal birds , a ceramic horse , candelabra , porcelain dish with flowers and a gold brim on a stand , framed photograph of two men and a dog in either fishing or hunting gear standing in front of a car , black vase , porcelain female clown figurine , and several other unidentified objects . To the left of the fireplace , a tapestry hangs on the wall behind a small wooden table and chair . To the right , a painting hangs behind a small table with a female bust , a high back chair , and a wooden armoire or cabinet with an art piece resting on it .
