Description |
The corner of Market and San Fernando streets. A workman is adding the finishing touches to Robert F. Benson's new multiple-use building on the northwest corner of Market and San Fernando Streets, first listed in the City Directory in 1936. Merchandising establishments took over the lower floor of this structure, and a beauty college moved in upstairs. Benson's automobile salesroom appears at the far right; his service department, at the extreme left. Streetcar rails can be seen in the foreground. |
