May 15, 1928 THIRD ANNUAL FIESTA DE LAS ROSAS GRAND FLORAL PAGEANT-PARADE AT 2:30 P.M., Saturday, May 19, 1928 OFFICIAL PARADE FORMATION, HOURS AND INFORMATION: Parade at 2:30 P.M., sharp, leaving the south intersection of Morris Street on the Alameda, heading toward San Jose. LINE OF MARCH; The parade mcves from the point of formation proceeding over The Alameda to West Santa Clara Street; on West Santa Clara to First Street; on South First Street to San Salvador; east on San Salvador to Second; north on Second to Santa Clara; west on Santa Clara to First; thence north on First to St. James, and there disbands. All mounted entries except the Grand Marshal, his aides, division marshals, and their aides will observe the directions following in getting out of the parade lines in the disbanding area: DIVISION I—will turn to the right when the intersection of First and St. James is reached. DIVISION II—will turn to the left when the intersection of First and St. James is reached. DIVISION III—will turn to the left when the intersection of First and Devine is reached. DIVISION IV—will turn to the left when First and Julian is reached. DIVISION V—will turn to the light when the intersection of First and St. James is reached. DIVISION VI—will turn to the left when the intersection of First and St. James is reached. DIVISION VII—will turn to the right when the intersection of First and St. James is reached. Official Reviewing Stand is located on North First Street in front of the Court House. The capacity of the Reviewing Stand is limited to the use of members of the General Committee, The Governor, other officials, and guests of the Fiesta de Las Rosas Committee. Those wishing reservations in the Reviewing Stand will please apply to the Manager Henry M. Hobson, at 150 West Santa Clara Street, before noon, May 18th. A carefully constructed grand stand with capacity for 3000 spectators is located on the old Notre Dame Convent grounds facing the parade line on West Santa Clara Street—admission 50c First Aid Stations: The following plans have been perfected: Four first-aid stations have been established through the cooperation of H.E. White, Scout Executive, and Miss Nellie Evans, Secretary of the local Red Cross Chapter, located as follows: California State Automobile Association district office, corner of Keeble Street and The Alameda, Ballard 6500; Fiesta de Las Rosas headquarters, 150 West Santa Clara Street, Ballard 288; Bernhardt's Store, 31 East San Salvador Street, Ballard 7808; and William R. Lawrence Music Store, 36 North First Street, Columbia 419.
